We added a day in Tokyo and two in Osaka’s charming neighbor, Kyoto. Disney Cruise Line has seen a further increase in occupancy levels in FY23 to 96% as of March 2023. Buoyed by this success, Disney announced that it had ordered three new ships but these plans were blown off course by the coronavirus.

Five new entertainment-specific areas will bring all ages together At the center of it all will be the opulent Grand Hall, a three-story atrium that looks straight out of a fairytale, where dedicated shows and interactive entertainment will take place. The Senses Spa will allow adults to truly rest and recharge with a number of spa and beauty treatments on offer, along with spa villas and steam and aromatherapy rooms. Senses Fitness will be there for those who need to let off some steam and exercise.
One thing I love about Disney Cruise Line and Castaway Cay is that there are plenty of adults-only spaces where kids are strictly not allowed. I enjoy seeing the Disney characters on the ship, but love seeing Mickey and his pals even more at Castaway Cay. Speaking of gear, at Castaway Cay, cruisegoers can borrow free towels as soon as they get off of the ship. There are plenty of towel-return stations around the island, so I also never have to carry wet, sandy towels back on the ship. I hate taking tender ships, which can feel like a bit of a time sink, so this is a big bonus to me. With so many original spaces introduced on the Treasure, Disney Cruise Line fans are in for a fun season of guessing what new stories could inspire the Disney Destiny’s unique spaces.
